                   We are so PROUD of our Oxon Hill High Students!!!
 
   Oxon Hill High School highlighted by local news stations for their contributions
   and efforts in helping those affected in Haiti. Click on a photo to see the video.
 
   Dr. Cadet's office was filled with bags of clothing, and the students had collected
   about $3,000 in less than 24 hours! Word of OHHS efforts have spread. Various
   news stations have come to the school to interview OHHS on our "Haitian Relief
   Support" Initiative. Jazmin Blake (17 year old Senior hoping to go to NYU)
   organized the drive.
 
 
           
 
    Congratulations to Dr. Emory Andrews and the Oxon Hill High School Choir
    for winning the 2010 Stellar Award for “Children’s Performance of the Year”.

LEAD Programs - The Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Program is one of the most well-respected, highly-regarded high school summer programs in the country. Application deadlines are January 25, 2010, January 29, 2009, and February 5, 2010. Click for details.



Mount St. Mary's University Scholarship Essay competition for outstanding high school seniors on Saturday, January 30, 2010.  The Founder’s Scholarship is a four year, full-tuition scholarship valued at over $100,000 awarded to 3 incoming freshman.  Click for details.

GNS Scholarship - PG County Women's History Month Committee has established a scholarship in the memory of Congresswoman Gladys Noon Spellman. Applications are now being accepted. Applications must be received by Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Click for details.
